Tour Description: Start near the corner of Queen and Meeting at the "Four Corners of Law" to explore one of the most historic cities in America. As you travel along Broad, Meeting and Church Streets to the Battery, you will learn the history of patriots, rebels, heros, villians, pirates and ghosts. You will see where George Washington danced, dined, and slept. You'll be introduced to leaders who signed the Declaration of Independence and helped write the Constitution. Go where Charlestonians celebrated as they defeated the Yankees to win the Civil War, or, at least, so they thought. Walk the streets where churches were formed, where rebellions were planned, and an opera was inspired. You might even meet a ghost or two along the way.
